Problems using fcpxml files in Resolve

I'm attempting to color correct an exported fcp x project in Resolve lite. I've imported the fcpxml and media files into Resolve, but I am unable to reconnect the original media to the fcpXML sequence file. In the sequence each clip is identified by the original footage (eg MVI_1699, a typical 5D clip name) but Resolve wants to find the clip by a name that fcpx appears to have given it. In the viewer it also displays the new clip name, and seems to ignore what's in the sequence.

I have no experience working in fcpx, so don't know how this naming protocol works. Any help is appreciated. The editor has told me that resolve should recognize these files.

There were some issues but the Resolve 11 Lite Beta seems to be working well with the latest version of xml since they updated it for 10.1.2

If you are on the latest version of X, I would suggest downloading the Resolve 11 if you are under deadline.
