Organizing and sync Effects

Hi all,

Lately questions showed up on several forums how Libraries or Projects can be transferred to another computer, or used by multiple users on the same computer.

In principle, this is not a problem especially with 10.1.2. What can be fatal or at least annoying conditionally, is the use of Effects / Templates.
They can not be transported with a library (among other reasons probably for licensing reasons) and you can not make any Relink.
Even on one machine not necessarily every user has access to the same templates.

I updated the ancient PDF that I wrote late 2011 about this theme. It will help to understand how templates are organized or can be organized.

I think reading is worthwhile, as several errors can be avoided in advance, which otherwise will later cost trouble and time to resolve.

At the end of PDF there is a download link to my X-FX Handler app which allows to get a survey of installed templates and even allows to fix some of the problems which might occur.
