white indicator line showing but not importing

Hi,
I installed 10.2 and now am having an import problems.
my first 10 clips imported fine. Then after that I would try and import a
clip and the white indicator line would show up on the clip but it didn't import?
I know this b/c the import circle didn't move and I didn't get a pop up on
my screen saying "clip import successful" or something like that, which I got
the first clips that did load??
I closed the FCPX and reopened it, but to no avail.
