plug in for cleaning up old footage

I do work for a non profit and we have hours and hours of old footage shot and captured to 3/4 inch tape. It was done in the 80's and early 90's. Does anyone know of a plug in for FCP that can help me clean up the footage and get rid of some of the video "noise"?
