DELETING RENDER FILES

Hi,

Can I delete render files on the project that I am currently working on without effecting the project, in FCPX?

You should be able to do that within FCPX. As to the impact, it may depend what they're being used for. It could impact playback depending on your system.
Personally I don't render anything unless absolutely necessary (and sometimes it may be necessary).
