DVworkshops.com runs Documentary workshop for First Peoples of Alaska at "The Top of the World" in Barrow , Alaska

Nestled at the top of Alaska, on the Arctic Ocean, Instructor Aron Ranen just completed a Hands-on Documentary Workshop in which each participant produced their own documentary. Subjects ranged from Climate Changes effect on the Inuit people, to the story of a great local whaler, who died when a Large whale dragged his small boat beneath the water.

Students learned storytelling techniques using Final Cut Pro X. Some had never used a Mac, and learned to split edits, condense bites, use text...awesome software.
