Hi All, (Anyone?)

Struggling self-taught 6 month user here. Tutorials abound, but none exist to troubleshoot when following the directions precisely doesn't yield similar results which led me here.

Today (again), Zoom blur effect won't work - no preview, no inverting mask, nothing. I've deleted preferences.

Any suggestions?
