Rotate Video Challenge

FiLMiC Pro footage from an iPhone B camera somehow ended up rotated sideways. Not the same as vertical video. I can fix this type of thing in iOS Photos with a few taps. Amazingly, rotating a video has become an endeavor!

Tried Quicktime Player (v10.5), which seemed easy to setup, ended up exporting a new video which took 30 minutes on a new M1 MacBook Air. Original is 48 mins. length and 27 GB in size. The export was only 6 GB in size. Fishy… Used Inspector and discovered that the old video was H.264 and LPCM audio, whereas the export was H.265 and Mpeg-4 audio.

If I do this within FCP, it would be an effect that I would have to render, correct? And if I wanted to edit those files in the future, would I have to retain the render files?

I just want a quick and simple way to rotate a video without exporting or rendering, is that too much to ask? Does such an app exists?

Any suggestions are most appreciated! Thank you!
