In Sync Advertising, a Los Angeles- based Motion Picture Advertising company specializing in movie trailers and TV ads for films, currently has a job opening for a technically-minded Mac Guru/Assistant Editor.
Candidate must have:
Thorough knowledge of and experience using Mac OSX.
In-depth knowledge of Final Cut Pro & the ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise
Knowledge of DVD Studio Pro for making DVD's.
Experience administering web sites/mail accounts.
Knowledge of Mac OS X Server a plus.
The position also involves many assistant-editor duties, including: digitization, organization of media, and distribution of product to clients. Interest in Movie Trailers and Trailer editing a definite plus. In Sync is known for promoting from within; 3 of our editors, 1 of our producers, and our vice-president started as assistants here.
