We are looking for an experienced, detail oriented person to oversee the technical infrastructure of one of the industry?s premier Motion Picture Advertising companies, based in Los Angeles.
Job duties include:
? Maintenance and upgrades of Macintosh based Production workstations and both Mac and Windows administrative workstations, File, FTP and Web servers and Fibre Channel SANs.
? Organizing, maintaining , and archiving all digital assets for video and print production and general business.
? Planning and implementation of IT security procedures
? Maintenance of Audio/Video Post Production Machine room.
? Assisting executive staff with research into new technologies, strategic planning and vendor relations for ongoing system and facility upgrades.
Requirements: Experience supporting computers in a video post production environment. Advanced Macintosh support and trouble shooting skills are a must, as well as being comfortable maintaining Windows Desktops. Candidate should be familiar with standard Mac based video and graphics applications including Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design. Candidate should also have experience administering OS-X server, and be familiar with common backup applications such as EMC Retrospect, and a working knowledge of Fibre Channel SAN topologies
