Assistant Editor- Santa Monica

Looking for an assistant editor that is capable, proactive, and a team player. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with producers, editors, and designers. Must be fast, thorough, and able to prioritize tasks. The ideal candidate will also have great technical skills and can help us trouble-shoot when issues arise in our edit bays, as well as oversee our render farm. Some training will be provided, but a basic technical skillset and savviness is required.

Must be proficient in Final Cut, DVD Studio Pro, Adobe Applications, and Dreamweaver (at least some knowledge of html/ftp web posting) on Mac platform.

Position will entail: logging, digitizing, webposting/ftp, prepping OMFs, onlining, laying off, technical support, editorial, and other tasks as needed.

Must be living in Los Angeles and legally able to work in the U.S.
