LA Resources to find editing work

I recently moved from Chicago to LA and was wondering if LA had some type of production bible that lists post/production houses. Back in the midwest, Screen Magazine put out a production bible once a year.

In a nutshell, I am trying to figure out what companies are located out here and what type of work they do so I can try to submit my resume. Are there any web resources I am missing? Should I subscribe to certain magazines like "Variety" or the "Hollywood Reporter"? Any info would be great.
