Wanted: Final Cut Pro Editor

Wanted: Final Cut Pro Editor certified level 1 or higher, HD camera operator and Final Cut Server administrator preferred.


Independent television network is seeking a full time creative editor who knows Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Server and HD camera operation.

Responsibilities include: Using HD cameras in green screen studio, digitizing media, keying out backgrounds, editing on Final Cut Pro, and outputting broadcast level material.

Must be very knowledgeable of Final Cut Pro, compression formats, resolutions, DVD authorizing, green screen keying and broadcast quality settings

Must know how key out green screen footage, comp in a background, and create a seamless merging of images with proper lighting and color correction.

Must know how to digitize tape media, organize files and upload various formats using FTP.
