a Celebrity backed Movement against Cancer that was launched last year from Hollywood and Bollywood.
"1 a Minute" kickstarted with the
largest release for a cancer doc in cinema history (600 theaters) and is currently out through
Warner Bros.
Our charity partners are the likes of Susan G. Komen for the Cure (largest breast cancer charity in the world), the esteemed Nargis Dutt Foundation in India, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Foundation in Australia and many more.
Some of the celebs featured in "1 a Minute" are celeb cancer survivors like
Olivia Newton-John, Melissa Etheridge, Jaclyn Smith, Lisa Ray, Barbara Mori, Namrata Singh Gujral, Mumtaz, Diahann Carroll and also Billy Baldwin, Danny Baldwin, Dr. Dennis Slamon, Dr. DeepakChopra and many others including notables such as Senator (India) Priya Dutt and
Ambassador Nancy Brinker (Founder of Komen).
Other international celebrities who have supported the "1 a Minute" movement include
Kylie Minogue, Danii Minogue, Hrithink Roshan, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Maria Conchita Alonso, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and more.
As part of our on-going campaign efforts: we will be putting out an online series of "1 a Minute" snippets that cover cancer survival.
As such, we are looking for an asst. editor (proficient in FCP 10 and Motion 5) to cut this bonus website footage.
- One day per week...we are flexible w/ the day.
- Asst will do the technical cutting but for creative choices...work under the guidance of a producer and periodically a well established Editor.
- Editing will be done at our Burbank venue...you just need to show up and cut.
- This will be on the latest Mac 27" w/ FCP 10 & Motion 5 (Motion 5 knowledge necessary).
- This is a charity cause and we have a tight budget...$100-$150/day.
- This is a non-union job.
