The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism is seeking a creative and collaborative visual storyteller and dynamic problem solver who is experienced with creating and using multimedia content, can train others, and has the ability to work with students and faculty in a demanding, fast-paced environment. This includes but is not limited to, managing and teaching students how to use facilities, editing, color correcting, and have an understanding of television/documentary/web production, audio/video editing systems and software (Adobe Premiere Pro & Creative Cloud), new media technology (i.e. compression, authoring for web), and use of backend website management (i.e. Qualtrics, Drupal, WordPress).

Job Accountabilities:

• Support and maintain the technical operation at the Wallis Annenberg Hall converged Media Center. This includes, but is not limited to the video editing bays and Impact student program
• Schedule, teach and support non-linear editing and other multimedia workshops in the Media Center
• Troubleshoot, support and maintain the media asset management system, digital signage and video distribution systems for the Media Center.
• Install and maintain web systems and network configurations
• Train and support Media Center students and faculty
• Train and supervise student workers on production workflow, media asset management and technical operations
• Maintain various websites for Annenberg’s programs
• Help maintain and support converged multimedia workflow, technical infrastructure and content delivery networks
• Evaluate new technology and provide recommendations.
