Are you new to Premiere Pro? Are you coming from another NLE, like the Avid Media Composer or Apple Final Cut Pro? If you need some help to get you up to speed quickly then check out the following blog post entitled, "Premiere Pro overview documents for Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer users." Here, you'll find helpful primers, video tutorials, blog posts and articles related to moving from your NLE to Premiere Pro. Check it out here:

Yeah. Nice one. Thanks muchly.

Lots of questions large and small at the moment especially as regards:

1. working with Blackmagic cards, drivers, getting project settings and viewing settings working properly

2. keyboard issues, shortcuts not working

3. getting export quality and render settings right, exported sequences (espcially type) appearing "soft"

Will work through that pdf and more training before posting though.

I have a "switcher's" question. I am moving from FCP. Used to use Nattress, FX Factory, and other 3rd party transitions, there seems to be a lack of good transitions for PP. I bought the New Blue packs but render times are arduous, and Boris and Magic Bullet are available as effects and not as transitions. Honestly, I don't want to have to key frame everything. There has to be something out there that is drag and drop as a transition with some ability to modify. Anything you know of?

Boris Continuum has several transitions according to their site: [www.borisfx.com]
Hopefully, plug-in developers will design more for the Premiere Pro community.
