workflow for Super16mm film and Premier Pro?

HI,

We are currently shooting a feature on Super16 mm film. The plan is to

1. scan to 2K
2 create an MOS proxy file
3. sync the proxy files to the external sound files
4. Edit with Adobe Premier Pro
4. match back to 2K.

Has anyone done this? If we sync and create Merged Clips in Premier, will we be able to matchback the footage with the 2K material? If so, how would be do this?

We plan to stay digital and never go back to film. That said, is there a way to match back using key code in Premier?

It's been a long time since I've cut on film and I've never done it with Premier, only Avid.

Can anyone describe this workflow?
