MC 5.5 720p 60?

MC 5.5 720p 60?

I'm stumbling my way through this strange new world of MC. I have some XDCAM EX footage recorded at 1280 x 720p at 60p. The project settings in Avid don't seem to offer this format, only 720p 30. Is this right?

I'm not at my computer now, but I'm pretty sure it does 720p60. I'll check later.

I think ? I found it. Nomenclature issue. Called 59.94, misread as interlaced.

Yup. That would be it. It's never 60 fps, but 59.94 (29.97x2 for field rate).

yeah, cept' interlaced uses the same. No 720 interlaced though that I know of...Guess ya have to look at every description. There is a certain amount of loose descriptors floating around.
