Final Cut 4 and Expose

Hi,

I've got FCP4 and have got all of the latest updates for Panther and FCP and have found that when editing and using the F9, F10 and F11 keys, Entourage gets in the way by wanting to show all of my windows etc. Now I know that I could reassign the keys but that'll probably just cause problems in general use or with other programs.
What I want to know is if Entourage can be shut off while using certain applications. I've found it a really handy little tool and would hate to see it cast aside completely.

Any ideas appreciated.
