Aux TC disappears after recapture

Haven't found anything in the manuals about this so I'm a bit in the gray zone as I would expect this to work...

Capture a clip. Now, if you add Aux TC 1 & 2 timecode and Aux 1 & 2 Reel names and then do a recapture of the clip, the Aux info is lost.
If you import a batch list which contains Aux TC and Aux Reel names and then do a batch capture the aux info is also lost.

Are you seeing the same thing?
Could this be a bug or am I hoping for too much?
BTW, MM keeps the aux timecode intact during a recompress.
