audio drop-outs

does anyone know why some lines of audio/dialogue would just drop-out during the playback of a freshly burned DVD?

I'm working on a PoweMac G4 , 1g dual, 2g sdram, 80g hard drive, FCP 4.5 HD with three Lacie firewire drives=825gigs storage.

My post pertains to specifically QT movies, but it may also apply to nesting and DVD's.
