Multiple Users using FCP 4.5

In a classroom enviroment with multiple people using a single computer. Is there a easier way for someone to set up Final Cut so that they don't have to reset the capture scratch drive and cache drives everytime they use the system?

No easy way. It has to be done with each user.

the scratch disk settings is defined in the FCP prefs.
so if each user has a separate user account,
they will each have a set of FCP preferences, with a specific scratch disk location.

so if user TIM has a dedicated drive, or partition
and user TOM has one also,
then those drives can be set in their respective preferences.
