Feathered wipe

Feathered wipe

When I use the wipe transition (Any of them) and tick soft edges or feather edges, nothing noticable happens.

Anyone experienced this?
Maybe FCp has no proper wipes?

I just thought that if it was working usually that it could be a bug.
