incnsisitant behaviour when opening clips from timeline into viewer

there are instances when a clip selected in the timeline will not open in the viewer.

if the clip is V only,
and it has been selected by hitting:
x (mark in / out)
& option a (select between in & out)
then the return key will not open it in the viewer.


i;ve been programming macros lately, using QuicKeys
and inconsistent behaviour like this is really getting in my way!

another variation on this theme:

if the clip is linked and on V1 & A1A2,
and there is another clip immediately after, but on V2 & A3A4
then x / option a / return
wont open the clip in the viewer
