This may be more of a feature request than a bug but I think it's still a bug.
If you open an existing project and don't have the font activated or installed that was used in the project, FCP doesn't warn you of such and you have now way of knowing what the original font was. This is a problem in a larger workflow environment where projects are shared ans swaped.
