Big Timecode window

Big Timecode window

I'm trying to set the new FCP7 Big Timecode Window to display clip times as the Playhead passes over each. There's a shortcut menu allowing me to display Clip Time and Source Time. Neither shows me clip time. The only options available form the Big Timecode window shortcut menu are an option to toggle off Frames in the timecode, or to display Aux timecodes 1 or 2. Thosd eare fine but... what about showing clip timecode? How could that be overlooked?

I need to see the code for my timeline selects. I don't need sequence time right now. I will need it when I need it and want to be able to switch to it.

Is there a switch I'm missing?

Hi Loren

Nope, there's no switch you're missing, even with the FCP7 timecode window, it's not possible to view the source timecode from the sequence side. The clip time and source time options refer to when you're working with timecode that doesn't match with the media frame rate, like shooting 23.98fps inside 60fps.
