FCP 7.0.1 bug alert!

Tried to save and got an "operation not allowed" error

No way around it - quit and relaunched.

New session - was able to save (so not a prefs or permissions issue)

Retraced steps exactly and found the culprit

It happened after I shift-deleted a nested sequence.

every time!

Additional info:

shift-deleted NESTED sequence was first up in sequence that caused the problem

first sequence of nested clip was a still, so was the clip that followed immediately after

I mention this because there was another bug - if your sequence began with a shift-n freeze frame,

you could find FCP renaming things arbitrarily - perhaps related, perhaps not

Tried Save As? Save to another drive location? Autosave? Copy everything in the project file to a new project? Export XML?
