Color palette crash

Okay, so I have a shot generated from Martini Quickshot, a storyboarding plug-in, on V2.
It's matted with a 4-point garbage matte.

On V1 below I add a Color Solid from Video Generators>Matte effects.

The color is blue. I click in the Controls pane to change it to green.

At this point FCP crashes persistently.

I'm testing some variables here... but is anyone else seeing a crash on Color Solid changes?
