Rendering: Insufficient Disk Space

Posted by R. Joseph
My final cut pro 3 will not allow me to finish rendering my 2 hour movie
because of "insufficient disk space." I have thrown everything away: all
the old sequences, old render files, everything that will not be in the
movie and have begun rendering all over again. Yet, I still have about 20 minutes of footage that I am unable
to render.

I am using a Apple G4, dual processor, and it has plenty or memory and lots of unused disk space.

Suggestions?
How are the drives configured, including how much space is left on each please...

example:

I have a boot drive that hosts the applications.

The capture drive is not that same drive.

You can even install a 3rd drive and set the render cache to that and the capture scratch to a different drive.

Anyway, please detail your settings and check your own preferences. Make sure you have your capture scratch and render scratch set properly.
Sorry, you do not have permission to post/reply in this forum.
