No sound in simulate mode.

Greetings!

Im new to DVD studio pro. Just exported a 1h24m movie from FCP 4.5 HD to DVD studio pro 4 via compressor. I end up with three files. an aif., .ac3. and finaly an .m2v.

So far so good. I imported assets and created a template. One of the buttons I told to link to the movie. I dont know how to link the sound. When I look in the simulate I hear no sound.
Is it so, that no sound should be in simulate mode? If so, how do I know that the sound is linked to the movie? Do I only have to burn the dvd now? It feels that there will be no sound on the DVD.

Im glad if any one can help me out. Tryed to search for earlier posts, but failed to find one.

Jonas,

I'm not expert, but this is probably what you need to do:

Create a new "Track," drag your .m2v file from the Assets window to "V1" in the Track Editor (Window>Track Editor) and then drag your .ac3 to "A1" in the track editor. The .aiff is just an uncompressed version of your .ac3 file, thus the .aiff is redundent and you can remove it from the project entirely.

Finally, have the menu button target the track (and not the actual movie).
Sorry, you do not have permission to post/reply in this forum.
