DVDSP4 crashing when importing mpeg files
September 26, 2005 07:14AM
I have been using DVDSP since v1
I have just finished making and successfully testing disc1 of a 2 disc project. Now I am trying to do the disc2 and when ever I try to import the other mpeg files DVDSP crashes. I have even try opening disc1 project and that one crashes also.
I have been trying for a whole day to finish this simple project, but I don't know what else to try.
Any one has any ideas what could be wrong?

Have you repaired permissions and trashed your .plist for DVDSP?
Try running Disk Utility a couple of times, repairing permissions.

Matt the problem was simpler than it looked. I found my answer in the Apple's compressor Forum. It had to do with QT 7.
If anyone else is having a problem here hoe to fix it:

1. In the finder control click>open with > other> QuickTime Player and select always .
2. control click the m2v file (it should have the QT logo back on the icon) then select in the open with sections QT and change all.
3. Restart and it should be good to go.
