HDV intermediate film to DVDSPRO 4

Who knows the aproriate mpg2 compressor settings for:

1080i HDV intermediate Pal

I tried to make a mpg2 from HDV intermediate, but the result was very
dissapointing. ( lots of artifacts, too interlaced)

used compressor settings : single pass 8mbps.
