DVD Studio Pro launches but then idles

URGENT..I am finishing a project and am stuck...

When I launch the program a message box flashes but not long enough to actually view it or read it.

None of the buttons display at the top of the advanced view and the program seems to be running but none of its functionality actually works.

It happened when I upgraded from Panther to Tiger, I think.

With many programs I merely had to move one item, or directory to a new location and things worked again. I uninstalled DVDStudio Pro 3 completely and reinstalled in hopes of fixing the problem and it did not help.

An error message flashes but it is so quick I have no idea what it says when I quit the program in its "frozen state".

Anyone have any suggestions?
