No Icon for Slideshow

I am new to DVD Studio Pro4 and am stymied by what I am sure is simple problem. Following a tutorial, I clicked on add slideshow which should add an icon in the "graphical interface". It doesn't. It does add the icon in the "outline " screen. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. Barry
