FCP 3:2 anamorphic or 4:3 anamorphic to DVDsp 16/9

ok so i have this mixed TL that has 3:2 footage and 3:2 anamorphic. The TL is set to 3/2 anamorphic.

so i export qt self contained and drag that into dvdsp.
created a trk as 1st play
then simulated

what i got was vertical stretch even when switching to 16/9.

my theory is that i need to make the TL 4/3 anamophic (50min) which i am rendering at the this moment.

is this the right course of action? or is there something in dvdsp that needs to be changed?

change your settings in dvdsp.

it would seem that no matter if i set dvdsp to 16/9 or 4/3 it is not showing the 16/9 footage at full screen.

when i set the simulator to 4/3 pan-scan, 4/3 letter box, or 16/9 all of the footage that is 16/9 shows up with pillar box.
some of it should be pillar box but the opening and a few section are 16/9.

when viewing it in fcp it looks fine. in the dvdsp simulator - the 16/9 footage looks 4/3 pillared & vertically stretched.

even the 4/3 looks vertically stretched.

change it in the dvdspro preferences. the simulator is just a display toggle NOT an end-product setting.

i i changed my seq setting to 4:3 anamorph
exported qt selfCon

and there it was. still seems a bit strange to me tho.
