Video Bit Rate too High Error

Video Bit Rate too High Error

No matter what bit rate i select i get this error. I am burning SD with only 1.1 Gig used
on a regular DVD. Any thoughts?

Well what does no matter mean? What exactly have you tried and what haven't you tried?

What are you importing? Have you used Compressor? Have you used AC3 audio? etc etc

I tried the standard bit rate and then slid the bar over to the smallest bit rate. The sequence was exported in Final Cut using Quicktime H.264 compression.

Don't use H.264 for SD DVD. You're compressing your file a lot (and for a long time) and then it takes a longtime to decode and then is compressed to MPEG-2! Not a good workflow.

How did you ensure that the change in the (DVDSP) Prefs stuck? Are you using encode on import or on build?

You'll be better off Encoding to m2v (mpeg-2) and AC3 (dolby digital) out of Compressor then using those in DVDSP.
