STUDIO PRO WON'T OPEN

I am having trouble opening DVD studio pro. If I double click the icon it begins to open but stalls at the slate that says DVD Studio Pro. I can double click on a project but it will not allow me to import any files that are not compatible with that project's settings.
I cannot reinstall DVD Studio Pro because I am on the road and do not have the disks.
Any ideas?

try trashing the prefs first of all, then re-starting... if no good, try creating a new user account and running it from there. If it doesn't work at all then I would think you'll need to re-install when you get back to base.
