Help !!!

I am fairly new to Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. My problem is I can't make a self contained movie that I can burn to a DVD for others to watch.

I have Final Cut Pro 6, imac (2009) 2.0 gbs ram 10.5.8 OS 2.0 core 2 duo.

I save the file and it says it is a quick time movie, but it wont burn as a self contained movie. I have the box checked when I export, but still won't work. I have read many tutorials about it, and it seems to me I am doing everything correct.

Any suggestions ??

You must encode the footage to mpeg format before you try to burn... Have you done so?

A lot of the basics are in the manual. Tutorials are on the disc too... Please go through these first as it is not possible to give you all the info they contain in a small forum post.
