No script needed at all.
Once Hal gave me a suggestion that totally works for me.
As you surely know by now, DVD@ccess doesn't really work on button activation, but rather it's actually triggered at the beginning of a separate menu that's linked to the button with the web/file/e-mail link.
So, what you could do is: link each button that would trigger web links to a 10 sec. empty menu, basically a text slide with information about DVD@ccesss: what it is, what it allows, how to enable it on Mac or install it on PCs. The DVD@ccess action itself is assigned to this menu.
If they are watching the DVD on a standalone player, the slide will explain the function is not available. If they are watching it on a computer, they will probably not see the slide because they will be viewing the web site, mail program or local file. After the 10 sec. slide, the timeout command make you return to the original menu.
