How do I tell where the auto break point was set?
September 30, 2006 07:45PM
I have my break point set to "Automatic", but I can't see where it has been set. I looked on both tracks and couldn't find any markers with the dot in the middle. I thought that was supposed to indicate the break point. I have plenty of fade outs that would be ideal and I hope that is where DSP will put it, but don't know for sure.

TIA

Just in case it helps, the layer break isn't added when you build the project, but when you format it (record to DVD-R, DLT tape, disk image, etc.) So, you'll have some feedback when you attempt to format. You may find out DVD SP doesn't find any suitable marker at that point. The best thing is to place a couple of marker in the proper point and set the break point to manual before formatting, if DVSD SP takes the layer break point you suggest, we're happy. If it doesn't, you will need to refine the search for the right spot (right after the middle of the project).
