Making Connections from Buttons to Video

I am learning the DVD 4 through Peach Pit. When it gets to the section of linking the Play Video button to the movie or track, all is fine. The book does not seem to relay how to link the menu button to the Main Menu.

How do I link the menu button to the main menu?

Hi Carl - when you say link the menu button are you referring to the button on the remote control handset? If so, click on the disc icon in the disc outline view (or the background in the graphical view) then look in the property inspector for the remote control section there, and ensure the 'menu' setting points where you want it to go. If you only have one menu then this will be set correctly by default. All other areas on the disc where you can change this setting are probably listed as 'Same as Disc', which means you only need to set this up once (unless you have some more intricate navigation to build on your disc).

If you have a menu with a link back to the main menu, then simply click on the button link and look in the property inspector... at the top is the target setting for the button - point it to the main menu.
