File size too big

When I Compress my 89 minute movie from FCP5 using Best Quality 90 mins, the movie file comes up to a lil more than 4 gigs and the audio comes to a little less than 1 gig.

DVD Studio Pro will not let me burn this. Says file size too big. There are no other assests or anything than the movie and the audio. What should I do?

A DVD-5 single layer hold 4.37 GB of data. Audio should be encoded as AC3 for space saving and the Quicktime flle should be encoded at the slowest bitrate without sacrificing video quality.

Both will present a smalled total data size.

Hi,

As John said first encode your audio using AC3 (see the thread on AC3 below).

Best Wishes,

Mitch
