Juddering graphic after encode

This isn't about fine detail line twitter, I know how to handle that with a .025 Gaussian Blur. What I'm encountering looks like terrible field order issues between video and the architectural graphic I've inserted. I'm doing a huge zoom in to close detail-- and at the close end, a LOT of judder.

Would deinterlacing the DV program be the best way out? Do I do this in FCP on the specific graphics, or globally in DVDSP?
