upgrade OS now DSP errors

Ok, new issue, but with a different computer. I upgraded the OS to 10.5.8 on this particular computer & now DSP 4.0.3 has some weird happenings. Like, during a build, once it hits a certain point such as rendering a menu, it just cycles there with no progress. Another weird thing is that when I try to save it says "you cannot save this project", but if I do a "save as" it will let me overwrite it. I'm not on an Intel mac, so my suspicion is that there's a clash between 4.0.3, the OS & non-intel. Throw me some knowledge!

fixed the saving problem. Just need to track down the build issue. The build hangs up when it hits the first transition render. If I strip out all transitions, the build finishes successfully. So the transition is the culprit somehow. Ideas?
