Hello to everybody

I am triying to make a DVD with a quicktime movie file that I created with FinalCut. This file is in 16/9 and looks great when I play ot in the computer using quicktime player. When I create de DVD and play it some quality is lost and the image is like jumping a little bit, I know the lost of quelity can be a normal thing due to compression, but the image jumping ... Can i resolve that?

Thanks a lot for your help and kind regards

Sounds like an issue with inverted fields. What is your format and how did you export it out from FCP?

Hello, is been recorded in SD MiniDV, in 16/9 (no letterboxed) but I dont think is a native 16/9 either since is a panasonic consumer camera, NV-GS250. Then I exported using quick time conversion, in options I select video size in Pal ( I am in europe) 720x576 16:9. I noted that if I leave it in compressor native or native, the ouput file is alwais 4:3 even if is in 16:9 and coming from a 16:9 project. Maybe th eproblem is coming from this stept

Thanks a lot from your help
