DVD Pro quits when importing sound assets

When I import assets compressed by compressor the video portion will come into the program but the sound portion causes the program to crash. I have the program on two different computers and both are having a similar result. I can, however, drag the assets into the assets window and all is well but I am curious why this problem has suddenly begun. I am using DVD Studio Pro 4 with the last available update and OSX 10.6.6.

What is the format of the problematic audio? What settings did you use in Compressor?
