System Freezes With Motion and Radeon 9800

Hi,

I added a radeon 9800 pro video card to my dual 867 G4 running 10.3.5.

My system now has system freezes requiring a restart.

I have reinstalled the OS 10.3.5 and updated the drivers from the ATI web site.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciared.

That's maybe only the hardware issue, same case as my 8500 in the past, also the new 9800 with my old G4.

Try to slut down you computer (not restart) a wait for few second and turn it on again.

Yes, the first boot somehow take quite longer, (don't know why, think it is doing something), but it will return to normal on next time. also, detach all the firewire device during any upgrade or install process.
