Motion freezing file won't open

I have a G5 2.5 Dual. 1GB RAM

i went through repaired permissions and trashed Motion preferences.

it started today with a beach ball freeze. i force quite after 5 minutes. now i can't open that file.

i decided to grin and bare it and start over. now, with a fraction of the material within the project, i get a beach ball freeze.

it's really starting to piss me off.

i know that 1 GB of ram isn't the greatest, but i am not doing anything that major. not animations just 4 clips together with some graphics.

should i try a re-install and see what happens?

I have uploaded the Motion file. i don't know if anyone else can try opening it for me, but i put it up there if anyone was game. it is zipped.

OK, i just went through it on another computer and it appears the file is without redemption so don't download it.
