other then copying and cutting masks for other layers, are there any other uses for the mask in motion 4? (i.e. morphing etc).

Check out the LAFCPUG.org home page. There is a tutorial on creating aplha masks in Motion.

i wanted to know if there are more features to the alpha mask other then just to cut and past with the layer ( i.e. after effect effects)
