consideration for upgrade

I just found Motion 2.0 sitting in a box; and wondered if upgrading
would effect any Motion-FCP linked files that had been rendered.

For example, I have about 16 name keys as Motion files that FCP 4.5HD
reads as references ; and wonder if an upgrade would have any detrimental
effect on reading of these Motion files (they are not stored in the Motion 1.1
directory, so an overwrite of the motion files won't occur)

I read that you can't have both Motion 1 and 2 on the same drive; so
what exactly happens when I load in the Apple Motion 2.0 CD

(bear with me, I have been a PC user for 20 years and only an Apple user
for less than six months)

thanks

"" so

I believe it just overwrites the Motion 1.0 to 2.0?
